6 DAYS KOMODO – WAE REBO – HOBBITS CAVE

WEST FLORES TOUR “KOMODO, WAE REBO, HOMO FLORES CAVE” (6-DAYS TOUR

This tour program is a combination tour of seeing Komodo Dragon within Komodo National Park, visit an impressive traditional Wae Rebo village and visiting Liang Bua cave as a home of Homo Floresiensis. This kind of trip aimed to visit the major attractions on western part of Flores islands which cover 2 differences regency.

This will cover Wae Rebo village, Ruteng town “cool and nice breeze town”, and Liang Bua cave as the home of Flores’ hobbit, spider’s web rice fields in Cara village called “Lodok”, visit some small around Komodo such as: Rinca, menjerite, Kelor, Padar, Manta Point, Pink Beach, Komodo, Kanawa etc. Recommended program fro west Flores tour is as underneath, but you can adjust them if you want.

D1. Labuan Bajo – Lembor  – Repi Beach – Denge village – Wae Rebo (L/D)

Pick up at the hotel/airport in Labuan Bajo town west Flores. Drive to Lembor to see the largest paddy field in west Flores. Continue drive to Nangalili and stop at Repi beach to have beach relaxing and having lunch. Then heading to Denge village the last stop before trekking to Wae Rebo. Start trekking up to Wae Rebo for 3 hours through the forest. See and enjoy the Wae Rebo village, by interacting with the local community to learn about their way of life and their unique culture. Lunch in Repi Beach, Dinner and Overnight are at one of the traditional houses in Wae Rebo village.

DAY 2. Wae Rebo village – Todo Village – Ruteng(B/L)

After having breakfast at Wae Rebo village. Trek down, back to Denge/Dintor village. Continue drive to Todo Village to see the main Palace of Manggarain King also to see the drum makes from human skin. Continue drive to Ruteng via Iteng village. Visit a local market in Ruteng  to know the local activity then continue visit the Main Church (Chatedral) the main central Catholic Bishop of west Flores. Check-in at Hotel for overnight. Lunch and dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 3. Ruteng – (Cara) Spiderweb Rice Field – Liang Bua “homo Flores cave” – Labuan Bajo (B/L/D)

Wake up early in the morning to have sunrise at Golo Curu Hilltop. Back to Hotel and having breakfast. After that continue drive to Cara village to enjoy the beauty of Spiderweb Ricefield (Manggarain Land divided called Lingko), Then continue drive to visit the Homo Flores Cave in Liang Bua. After that drive back to Labuan Bajo and check in at hotel. lunch and dinner at local restaurant.

DAY 4. Labuan Bajo – Manjerite Snorkel Spot – Rinca island – Kalong Island (L/D)

Pick up at your hotel. Transfer to the harbor to catch a local wooden boat trip. Boat to Kelor, Manjerite to snorkel/swim/relax. Heading to Rinca Island for an afternoon trekking to find the Komodo dragon and other wildlife. After trekking will get back to the boat and boating back to Kalong Island to see thousands of Fruit bats which are flying out of the mangrove forest while enjoying the spectacular sunset. Lunch, Dinner, and Overnight on the boat.

DAY 5. Padar Island – Pink Beach – Komodo Island (B/L/D)

Breakfast on the boat. Then trekking to the top of Padar Island to witness the most spectacular landscape around Komodo National park. Boating to amazing Pink Beach to snorkel/swim/relax. Afterward heading to Komodo Island for an afternoon trekking to find Komodo dragons and other wildlife. Boating to somewhere around Komodo Island for overnight. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Overnight on the boat.

DAY 6. Komodo Island – Taka Makasar/Manta Point –  Siaba Island – Kanawa Island – Labuan Bajo (B/L)

Having breakfast on the boat. Boating to Taka Makasar/Manta Point to try finding huge Manta ray fish by snorkeling (No guarantee to see them, it’s depending on luck and weather condition). Afterward, head to Siaba Island for off-shore snorkeling (if you are lucky, you can find turtles here). Continue boating to the last island of Kanawa to snorkel/swim/relax. Boat back to Labuan Bajo’s harbor. Transfer to your chosen hotel or transfer to the airport for your flight to the next destination.
